Invitation
The Local Organizing Committee and the Mass Spectrometry Society of Japan (MSSJ) welcome you all to attend the 19th IMSC. It is a particular honor that this landmark event - the first IMSC to be held outside Europe - will be staged in Asia. Indeed, the conference city, Kyoto, is one of the leading Asian cities. It is not only renowned as former capital and culture heart of Japan, but also for its place at the cutting edge of mass spectrometry research. The long history can be seen today in 17 UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Sites, fascinating traditions, cozy workshops, and sumptuous dining; the bright future in state of the art research institutions. The 19th IMSC will demonstrate the mass spectrometry community to be a global body.
